The Wesleyan has announced that, effective September 1, 2025, its skilled nursing operations will be acquired by Wellsential Health, managed by Regency Integrated Health Services, a respected non-profit provider with 68 locations throughout Texas.

Our Wesleyan Independent Living “Top Chef” afternoon wasn’t about competition after all —it was about connection.
Residents gathered to taste, enjoy, and share feedback with the very cooks who prepare their meals every day. It was a chance to sit together, ask questions, offer opinions, and feel part of the process that happens behind the scenes in our dining program.
Good food brings people together and when the people cooking for you are right there listening, it makes the experience even more meaningful.

We had the sweetest time at our Annual Wesleyan Wonka Chocolate Tasting! Residents enjoyed decadent confections created by our talented team and we even had our very own Willy Wonka, Jacob, bringing the magic to life!
🎟️ Eight GOLD TICKETS were hidden inside our Wesleyan Wonka Bars, and the lucky winners received a GIANT box of chocolate!

Valentine Sock Hop!
We turned back the clock and turned up the fun at our Valentine’s Day Sock Hop and let’s just say… it was a whole vibe.
The Sterling Country Band brought the 50s–60s rock & roll hits and our residents were twisting, smiling, and singing right along.
And because no sock hop is complete without the classics… we served up Coke floats and sliders to keep everyone fueled for the dance floor!
Sweet treats, retro beats, and the best company around that’s how we celebrate love at Wesleyan.

Build Your Own Quesadilla Day in Laurel Hall
Lunch was extra fun (and extra delicious!) in Laurel Hall as residents created their own custom quesadillas with the help of our amazing dining team and nurse aides.
From choosing their favorite fillings to watching them grilled to perfection, it was an interactive experience filled with laughter, conversation, and creativity.
And the best part? Nothing but smiles all around. 😊

Today, our Wesleyan residents stepped into the breathtaking world of the Sistine Chapel Experience at Barton Creek Mall and wow, seeing Michelangelo’s masterful brushstrokes up close revealed details you simply can’t catch from afar. From the depth of the colors to the incredible storytelling in every panel, it felt like uncovering hidden treasures right before our eyes.

Waffles, Wisdom & Wonderful Company at The Wesleyan
Our residents had a fantastic time at this week’s Waffle Wednesday in our beautiful teaching kitchen! During this hands-on dining experience part of our weekly Thursday dining events residents were encouraged to roll up their sleeves and learn how to create delicious waffle creations using personal waffle makers.
From sweet favorites to savory surprises, the options were endless! Highlights included:
• Classic sweet waffles with fun toppings
• Savory waffle eggs with custom ingredients
• A crowd-favorite… pepperoni pizza waffles! 🍕 🧇
