The Wesleyan Welcomes Wound Care Specialist and Surgeon Scott A. Russell, MD, FACS
GEORGETOWN, TX – The Wesleyan, a faith-based, nonprofit senior living and healthcare provider that has served Central Texas residents and patients since 1962, welcomes Scott A. Russell, MD, FACS.
Dr. Russell will be performing weekly bedside wound management rounds at The Wesleyan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Georgetown, TX.
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Russell is on staff at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital and is affiliated with Vohra Wound Physicians, whose wound management program has been noted by Ostomy Wound Management as greatly improving healing times, reducing infection and amputation rates, and reducing wound-related hospitalizations. Their wound outcomes are tracked and reported.
